Privacy Policy

Farman Mall (mall.farmanconnect.co.tz and the Farman Mall app) is run by Farman Connect. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, phone number, email (optional) and password (stored encrypted).
  • Delivery details: the names, phone numbers, regions and addresses you save for delivery.
  • Orders and payments: what you buy, order status, and the mobile money number used to pay. Payments are processed by FarmanPay and mobile money operators; we never see or store your PIN.
  • Sellers: shop name, contact details, products, sales and the payout account you give us for withdrawals.
  • Technical data: device and browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

  • To create your account, process and deliver orders, take payments and pay sellers.
  • To send order, payment and account messages by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
  • To prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal and tax obligations.
  • To improve Farman Mall. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

  • The seller of your order receives your name, phone number and delivery address so they can deliver it.
  • Payment providers (FarmanPay and mobile money operators) receive what they need to process payments.
  • Messaging providers deliver SMS, email and WhatsApp notifications on our behalf.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Storage and security

  • Data is stored on secured servers and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed.
  • We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted.

Your choices

  • You can view and update your profile and delivery addresses in your account at any time.
  • You can delete your account from Account → Delete account, or by contacting us. See mall.farmanconnect.co.tz/account-deletion.
  • The app stores your login and preferences (language, theme) on your device. Signing out removes the login.

Children

Farman Mall is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
